PFAS Removal

Chemviron have been providing a proven treatment solution for PFAS removal in water for over 15 years using our FILTRASORB® activated carbon technology.
Our experience with reactivation design and operating conditions enables us to efficiently reactivate the more challenging spent activated carbons we see today.
Thermal reactivation is a high-temperature process that mineralizes PFAS molecules adsorbed on activated carbon to eliminate persistent contaminants, such as PFAS, from the water cycle
Reactivation

Chemviron is the world’s largest recycler (or reactivator) of activated carbons and has carbon recycling facilities across Europe. Chemviron has developed state-of-the-art processes to recycle activated carbons to enable the destruction of the adsorbed contaminants, while restoring the spent carbon to a reusable state.
Combining reactivation with Chemviron’s high performance activated carbons, means our customers benefit from a sustainable purification solution, reducing their CO2 footprint.
Mobile Carbon Filters

Chemviron’s mobile carbon filters combine an on-site carbon adsorber and transport vessel for movements to and from site, eliminating the need for on the spot activated carbon exchanges.
CYCLESORB® mobile carbon filters are designed for purification and decolourisation applications at water works, wastewater plants and in industrial processes.
• Low capital expense and flexibility
• PLUG AND PURIFY
• Prompt availability
• Easy carbon exchange
• Complete service
Activated Carbon

Adsorption onto Chemviron’s high-quality activated carbon is a highly effective solution to remove many organic pollutants and other contaminants from both drinking water and wastewater.
The high-performance FILTRASORB®, produced by Chemviron are the most widely used granular activated carbons for drinking water treatment in Europe.
• Improving taste and odour
• Removing pesticides, herbicides, disinfection by-products, micropollutants, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, and PFAS.
Technical Support

Chemviron’s technical expertise and experience provide customer support to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective activated carbon and service solution is proposed for the application.
Our comprehensive technical service laboratories, including accelerated column testing as well as pilot units for site evaluation, enable us to determine the optimum operating conditions. These often prove to be invaluable in identifying the most efficient solution for the treatment challenge considered
