Aniel Kerkvliet

After leaving the Netherlands in 2000 and having lived in Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Aniel now calls the bustling city of Shenzhen in Mainland China home. He combines his commercial experience in several industries (mainly in media, technology, education), with his language and cross-cultural skills to serve Dutch companies that (want to) do business in or with China.

Bai Xuetao once worked in Environmental and Health Related Product Safety Institute, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Dr. Bai Xuetao has an extensive educational background in public health and environmental health, holding degrees from Harbin Medical University and Tongji Medical University.
After completing a postdoctoral research stint at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bai has held numerous influential positions, including serving as a former member of the National Hygiene Standard Committee and as Deputy Chairperson of the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances Expert Committee.
Currently, Dr. Bai is the Vice Chairman of the LED Disinfection Special Committee of the National Semiconductor Industry Alliance, continuing to contribute significantly to public health and environmental safety.
Bruno Lhopiteau

Bruno Lhopiteau has a 30-year track record helping public infrastructures and industrial plants in Asia to control technical risks, ensure regulatory compliance and optimize their assets.
In 2004, he founded Siveco China, a leader in the Chinese environmental market in the development of Smart O&M technologies aimed at implementing best work practices from top management to technicians. Water industry clients include Suez, Veolia, Capital Eco-pro, Beijing Environment, Hong Kong EPD, Zhongshan Water, Hongcheng Water, Singapore PUB, and many more.
In his spare time, Bruno lectures on Industrial Risk Management at Shanghai University, writes a regular column in Aquatech “Masters of Water” magazine and speaks at conferences on related topics.
Dai Xiaohu

Dai Xiaohu, Professor of College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University, National Overseas High-level Talent Specialist, Director of the National Engineering Research Centre for Urban Pollution Control, has served as the deputy director of the Department of Civil Engineering and Environment of the Seventh Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, the chief expert of the National 863 Program, the deputy head of the General Expert Group of the National Key Research and Development Program on "Solid Waste Resourcing" and "Key Technologies and Equipment for Circular Economy", and the senior member of the International Water Association (IWA).
He has long been committed to the theory and technology research on the resource treatment of sewage, sludge and organic waste, presided over more than 10 scientific research projects such as the Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Major Project, and has published more than 500 academic papers, of which more than 350 papers are SCI papers, authorized more than 120 Chinese patents for invention and 11 international patents for invention, and published 5 books. He has been awarded the Third National Award for Excellence in Innovation, the 14th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize, two first prizes of Shanghai Technology Invention Prize, one first prize of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, three gold prizes of the International Invention Exhibition, the silver prize of the IWA Project Innovation Award (PIA), one of the "Top Ten Chinese Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Ecology and Environment Field in 2021" and other prizes.

Huang Li graduated from the School of Municipal and Environmental Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology (majoring in Water Treatment), with over 40 years of experience in the water treatment industry. He is well-versed in the fundamental theories of water treatment, proficient in conventional water treatment processes and technologies, and knowledgeable about the characteristics of water treatment materials. Huang has been dedicated to research and product design in water treatment processes both domestically and internationally, and is passionate about leading technical teams and providing training in water treatment technology.
He is the author of “Low-Pressure Boiler Installation Manual” (the water treatment section) published by China Machine Press, and “Low-Pressure Boiler Water Treatment and Chemical Cleaning,” which is an industry training material.
In November 2023, he won the first prize in the “6th China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition, Berlin Station” in Berlin, Germany.
His technical expertise is focused on electrocatalytic water ecological restoration equipment, underground water iron and manganese removal equipment, pre-filters, micro-nano bubble generation equipment, and low-temperature plasma ozone generators.

Ruan Chenmin

Ruan serves as the President and Executive Editor of Shanghai WATER PURIFICATION TECHNOLOGY Periodical Press, and concurrently serves as the Standing Committee Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Engineering Education Committee of the China Urban Water Association, as well as Director and Secretary-General of the Shanghai Association of Water Purification and Technology.
He is engaged in scientific and technological intelligence consulting, achievement exchange, and research and development work in the water industry.
He has been awarded the title of “Outstanding Young Person in Science and Technology Periodicals” in Shanghai and “Outstanding Editor” in the East China region.
Ruan has participated in nearly 10 research projects and has received 1 second prize in the Shanghai Municipal Water Affairs and Ocean Science and Technology, the second-level project in the Shanghai Municipal Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievement, Shanghai Science Popularization Education Innovation Award, and 3 excellent popular science works awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
Furthermore, he is the main author of one popular science monograph and has published more than 20 papers.
Tang Jianxing

Tang Jianxing, originally from Nantong, male, born on 26 June 1968.
In July 1990, he graduated from Suzhou Silk Engineering College, majoring in chemical fiber (currently merged into Suzhou University). He entered Nantong Shuguang Dyeing and Printing Factory in the same year.
In 1998, he started to work as a water purifier in sale.
In 2000, he co-founded Noble Water Purifier in Shanghai Fudan Science and Technology Park.
In 2001, he joined Canature Environmental Protection in Shanghai.
In 2003, he was responsible for water purification project at Zhejiang Huikang.
In 2004, he went to Beijing to start his own business again.
In 2007, he founded the Private Economy Research Committee of the China Association of Private Economy, and served as the Executive Deputy Secretary-General, and held three consecutive high-level water purification industry summits in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
In 2011, he joined the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management and served as the person in charge of the water purification industry.
On June 26, 2014, officially established the Water Purification Industry Branch of the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management and was successfully elected as the first and second term president of the Water Purification Industry Branch, and established a complete membership service system, and has been awarded titles such as: Outstanding President, Most Dynamic Branch, and Excellent Branch.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, he has personally witnessed the development and market changes of the environmental protection industry and has a deep understanding and cognition of it.
Winter Ye

With over 30 years of deep cultivation in the Chinese water treatment industry, he has witnessed the growth and development of the Chinese water treatment market from traditional drinking water purification to the current stage of drinking water purification. He is one of the drafters of some water treatment group standards of the China Electronic Energy Saving Technology Association of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the founder of the Poseidon whole-house water purification customization brand.
He has served as the regional market general manager for a first-tier Chinese water treatment brand and as the general manager of some water purification manufacturing companies. He has held the position of water purification head for the Chinese subsidiary of a U.S.-listed company, building its civilian water purification products from scratch to an annual sales scale of over 100 million. He has served as the director of China expansion of the water purification brand of the American listed company, which is one of the top 500 companies in the world.
He is well-versed in the growth experience, latest industry trends, and product iteration technology of the Chinese water treatment market. With his professional experience and tenure in first-tier domestic and international brands, he is familiar with and has accumulated rich experience and industry connections in aspects such as brand, product, channel, sales methods and approaches, and development trends of the Chinese water treatment market. He has been appointed as a member of Advisory Board Aquatech China and serves as the secretary-general of the Water and Air Purification Committee of the China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST).
Yujia Shen

Dr. Yujia Shen has extensive experience in water market analysis with a special focus on the Chinese market and technology sector. Over the past ten years, she has written and contributed to several specialist reports on the water sector. She graduated from Tsinghua University with a BS in both environmental engineering and economics in 2009 and then received Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from National University of Singapore in 2014.
