EVA MARTINEZ DIAZ
I am a value-driven person highly motivated and focused on obtaining results with a combination of core skills that may be applied to a wide range of roles and challenges in business development – from managing projects to implementing creative solutions to existing business challenges whilst being able to communicate and influence at all levels.
I have extensive experience in project management and coordination of international R&D projects related to sustainability and environment, including digitalization
Currently I am head of sustainability and smart systems at isleutilities, focusing on the evaluation of emerging technologies for their application in the water, industry and environmental sector, facilitating decision-making in its implementation, reduction of carbon footprint and energy consumption and enabling the reuse of water. Activities in isle include market studies, advice on digital transformation, technology acquisition strategies and water audits in all types of companies.
In my previous position I was leading the Smart Services area at the Innovation Department at Aqualia. I took part in the assessment of new or state of the art technologies, implementing, evaluating and optimizing them through R&D projects, conducting business with public and private entities.
I act as an expert evaluator for the European Commission and belong to several expert councils within the theme of digital transformation in water (Smart Water Network Forum (SWAN) and Aquatech). Lecturer in several water congresses.
I am an Agriculture Engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), hold a BSc (Hons) in Environment Sciences at Coventry University (UK) and a MSc in Integrated Environmental Management at Nottingham Trent University (UK).
